Car Park Capital FAQ
9 Oct 2026 Early Access, single-player, English, level editor listed. Price, demo, GOG, co-op and extra languages are not on the store record.

These are the questions showing up on the Steam hub before unlock. Answers stay inside official text. Hub speculation is marked.
Date, price, demo
When does it come out? Early Access on 9 October 2026 (Steam announcement). Local store clocks can drift a few hours.
How much will it cost? Not on the store widget yet. The developer said EA starts cheaper, then the price rises for new buyers as updates add value. Any specific dollar figure in a forum post is unofficial until Steam shows it.
Is there a demo? Not listed on the Steam store record we pulled. A Gamescom Cologne booth was mentioned for people already at the show.
Platforms and extras
GOG / Epic? Not listed on the Steam app record. Unconfirmed.
Multiplayer? Steam categories say single-player. Hub threads asking for co-op do not make it a feature.
Achievements? Not in the public store categories we pulled. Unconfirmed for day one.
Languages? Steam lists English with full audio. Extra languages are a publisher talking point (MicroProse is helping with localisation) but no second language is on the store page yet.
Level editor? Yes — Steam lists "Includes level editor." How complete it is on EA day is unknown.
Steam Cloud / save anytime? Yes, both are listed.
Linux / Deck? Not in the appdetails we have. Unconfirmed.
The satire questions
Do I have to be "evil"? The fiction is unwholesome on purpose: Big Auto, car dependency, riot police, eviction. You can play the systems as written; the game is the joke.
Can I build trains instead? Other transit exists so you can kill it. People use trains and subways until you sell them cars.
