Car Park Capital Guide

Car Park Capital propaganda

Quick answer

Propaganda makes carbrains. Protesters block drive-thrus and spread walkism; riot-police trucks are the listed counter.

Billboards and statues over a paved plaza

Lots collect fees. Propaganda collects believers. The store page treats both as core systems, not flavour text.

The toolkit

Official copy lists:

  • Read thoughts. Are they embracing cars, or seething at fees and oil drills?
  • Statues, billboard posters, megaphones. "Turn everyone into a carbrain."
  • Car Ferris wheel as a traffic-jam distraction.
  • Stat-o-matic so you can watch the numbers.

Rock Paper Shotgun's coverage (quoted on the Steam hub) also mentioned billboards used to lean on pedestrians, and banana-mobiles. Treat press colour as colour until you can click the building in-game.

Protesters are a system

Devlog 1 is blunt. Demolishing neighbourhoods, cutting trees, paving, and drilling makes people unhappy. They protest, block drive-thrus, and spread walkism / commuterism. Your answer in that post: trucks of riot police, used until "order has been restored."

That is satire with a failure state. If reputation tanks, the lot does not print money in peace.

"Control the anti-car protests before they shatter your reputation." — Steam store
"Otherwise, people can get vulnerable to dangerous 'walkism' or 'commuterism' ideologies spread by protesters." — Devlog 1
